People prefer to say thank you by text
A survey from O2 suggests that people are more inclined to send a text message to say ‘thank you’ after Christmas than to write a card or a letter. Apparently 7% of us don't say thank you at all - but, of those who do, 48% said they'd chosen to text, while 36% preferred the spoken word (either face-to-face or by phone) and just 16% said they'd write.
