Nokia updates Ovi and Email services
There've been a couple of relatively-interesting announcements from Nokia in the last 24 hours. Firstly, its Ovi multimedia service can now synchronise calendar, contacts, notes and task information between your Nokia phone and your online storage at ovi.com. It's also possible to use a PC to access your files. And now they've enabled Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync to offer corporate email on 43 different S60 smartphone models, which equates to 80 million mobile devices. [Press releases: Ovi, Exchange]

Nokia and T-Mobile working together on online services
T-Mobile and Nokia have said they're going to work together to improve the availability of new internet services and social networking on mobile devices. The deal is expected to improve access to T-Mobile's web'n'walk internet services and to Nokia's Ovi internet services. There were reports in March that the companies had fallen out following the introduction of Ovi, with T-Mobile said to be dropping a number of Nokia phones. [Press release]

T-Mobile blocking access to Nokia's Ovi service?
T-Mobile could stop selling any Nokia handsets that offer access to Nokia's Ovi online multimedia service, according to a report in German magazine WirtschaftsWoche. T-Mobile Germany is reported to have dropped 5 Nokia phones from its range in the last five weeks, currently offering 10 Nokia phones - none of which support Ovi services. The two companies are apparently in negotiations about Ovi. [Source: Cellular-News.com]
